Hi Briana, the exact route is a secret (to make sure competitors are on an even playing field!), but will be around the Ballyhoura mountains in South-East County Limerick and North-East County Cork. I'm sure if you made it to Kilfinane you'll be close enough for someone to give you a lift -- you can find out bus timetables at http://www.buseireann.ie The best thing to do would be to get in touch with the organiser Pádraig Casey of Ballyhoura Fáilte: pcasey@ballyhoura.org to find out where the volunteer photographer is needed.
