Pieta House – Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or Suicide is a focused, counselling service which is readily accessible to those in need.
This October we will be opening the second Pieta House in Mungret.
Pieta House is only 15% government funded and relies on fundraising by volunteers for the rest of its funding.
This volunteer role is an exciting opportunity to help support our work and meet like-minded people.
The tasks of the role are:
- Join fundraising committee and meet every Tuesday morning (for first few months).
- Support the first charity race night in Limerick’s new Greyhound Stadium
- Support and recruit volunteers for a bucket day collection on 11th September
- Spread the word about Pieta House and our work.
