- Social integration volunteer (assist in the running of social events once every six weeks)
- Numeracy and literacy teacher (teach basic literacy and numeracy two hours a week)
- Befriender (take people on social outings once a week)
You can search online and apply for these positions, or call Thomas on (086) 056 1434 for more details.
I am very interested in volunteering for any of the above vacancies if they still exist. At the moment I am working in the Irish Naval Base in Cork and have an awful lot of free time as I am not due back to sea for a few months. Please contact me with regard to speak some more about volunteering, I have been trying to put my name forward for a while now. My number is 0871443292. Looking forward to hearing from you.
